Team equipment
The team has a purpose built base in Mytholmroyd, with garaging and lecture room.
We have three specialist vehicles - a control vehicle for coordination
of incidents, and two landrovers which can carry a casualty on one of our stretchers.
Maintainence of team kit is a monthly job and replacement of old equipment and medical kit due to wear and tear is a major financial demand.
Recent news
We have taken delivery of a new vehicle, bringing the total number of specialist rescue vehicles to three.
The new customized Landrover was brought into service on 24 August 2008.
This will compliment our existing vehicles, and thanks to support from HBOS, the vehicle will be stored at the Copley Data Centre, allowing the team to reduce response times to the eastern end of Calderdale.
The vehicle was sourced from one of the Lake District Mountain Rescue Teams and has undergone refurbishment by CVSRT team members along with the support of Stuart Baldwin Landrover specialist, Mud UK and Pennine Signs.
